Official: Russia’s security plan to cut interregional disproportions
MOSCOW, Jan 19 (PRIME) -- One of the main goals of Russia’s national security plan is reduction of the disproportions in the economic development of regions, Sergei Vakhrukov, an aide to the secretary of the Security Council, said Tuesday.
The strategy also encompasses “pragmatic participation in the international economic cooperation” and reduction of dependence on “external negative factors,” he said.
Low competitiveness and a raw material-based model of the economic development are the key economic threats to Russia, Vakhrukov said.
